Once joined, all you need to do is head to the Tipping page where you can see the open and private competitions available to tip on. Click on the “Tip Now” button of a competition that is open for tipping and you will be taken to a Tipping detail page to place your tips. Click on the “Tip Now” button on this page to bring up a popup to pick your players. Select 3 primary tips and up to 3 reserves for in case your primary selection doesn’t play the competition. Click submit and your tips are in. May the best tipper win!
If you are the winning tipper, you can win the entire Australian prize pool if tipping in the open competitions. For private competitions, this will be determined by the cost of entry set by the private competition captain and number of tippers in your private competition.
Prize Money is valid for twelve (12) months from the date of issue. If the Prize Money is not used in full within twelve (12) months of allocation, any unused Prize Money will be forfeited.
Each open competition tip costs AUD $10 per entry. Private competitions allow you to set your own entry fees and therefore create your own prize pool accordingly.
Payment is taken when your tips are submitted. If manually placing tips, payment is made when you pick your line-up and then click the “Submit” button. If auto-tipping is turned on, payment will be made when the next competition opens for tipping.
Tip2Win offers two types of competitions; an Australia wide open competition and a private competition option for smaller groups of your choosing.
The prize pool for each competition (including private competitions) is made up of 100% of all entry fees for that competition (less any applicable GST). GST is taken out of the prize pool as the GST collected on entry fees cannot be offset against Gift Vouchers as there is no GST payable on Gift Vouchers.
Yes! Tip2Win will guarantee a minimum prize pool of $500.
You can view the current prize pool on the main Tipping page on the competition tile as well as the the detail page for the given competition up in the top right hand corner.
Each placement of a golfer in a given competition is worth a certain number of points. The higher the place, the higher the number of points. The winning tipper is the tipper with the most points at the end of a competition and will take the entire prize pool.
You will be notified via email that you have won within 24 hours of a tournament ending. Aside to this, you can also view the results of a given competition in the Results tab on the Tipping page. You will also see that your account will be credited with the winnings owed to you.
Yes. After each tournament we update the Tipping page with the results of the given competition, both open and private. You can view these in the Results tab.
In the event of a draw, the prize pool will be split evenly amongst the winning tippers.
Over at the Tip2Win shop you spend your winnings at any of our retail partners including Drummond Golf, David Jones, JB HiFi, BCF, Supercheap Auto, Red Balloon, Woolworths, Caltex and Ray’s Outdoor.
The top 10 tippers on the monthly leaderboard as of the last day of each calendar month each receive a $50 voucher for Drummond Golf. The yearly prize consists of a prize pack from Drummond Golf worth over $5000. Private competitions are exempt from these prizes.
Auto-tipping is a way of making sure you never miss out on a tournament by using your selected tips from a previous event for upcoming events. It will utilise your (up to) 3 optional tips if your 3 main tips don’t play a given tournament. You can turn on/off this setting in your My Account page.
Drummond Golf and Tip2Win will donate 5% of any winnings spent at Drummond Golf to charitable causes. We currently support the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia as well as the National Breast Cancer Foundation via the Golf fore a cause foundation run by Drummond Golf. You can also donate to Golf for a cause here.
You sure can! Joining is free. Once joined you then decide which Tournaments you want to enter. Once you tip on your first Tournament your account will have ‘auto-tip’ turned on for your convenience. You can of course turn this off and just manually chose the Tournaments you want to enter.
Yes. It is up to you to ensure that your Line-Up is valid. If your Line-Up is incomplete we will alert you via email and use your reserves if they are available but it is your responsibility to have a valid for each Tournament.
If a tournament is cancelled, all entries will be cancelled and fully refunded. If delayed, the start date will be postponed and run as usual but at a later date. If a tournament is shortened, the statistics that are generated for the portion of the tournament played will be used to rank your tip the same as for a full tournament.
To cancel your Membership, go to the MY ACCOUNT section of this website and turn Off Auto-Tipping. Once Off, you will not be automatically entered into any future Open Competitions. However, you can choose to manually tip on any individual Open Competitions in the future if you like.

Private competitions are your own competitions which you can set up yourself and invite your friends to join and tip against. You can set your own tip cost and hence control your own prize pool. You also have the option of setting a $0 tipping entry fee to enjoy a free tipping comp with friends.
You can set up a private competition by heading to the Tipping page and clicking on the “Create Private Comp” button on the tile to the right of the open competitions. Follow the prompts on the popup to create the competition - make sure you invite your friends! If you are the one who sets the competition up, you are the ‘captain’ of the competition and can also invite more friends into the competition on the private competition page.
If you are the one who sets the competition up, you are known as the ‘captain’ of the competition and can also invite more friends into the competition on the private competition page. You will be the only one that can invite friends into that competition.
This will depend on what the captain sets it at when setting the competition. This can be set at any price which includes a $0 option if you want to tip without laying down the dough.

Yes. Results and other information regarding the members that are in the competition along with their points scored and their ranking can be viewed on the Tipping page in the Results tab and also on the Tipping detail page for the private competition.
You’ll need at least 2 to tango! They will need to be successfully submitted tips as well, but more the merrier! For example: if you have a private competition with 20 people joined and only 2 people have successfully submitted their tips, that competition is valid as you have a minimum of 2 people.
Placing tips is almost identical to the open competition tip placement - all you need to do is go to the Tipping page and click on your chosen private competition in the “Your Tipping Competitions” tab.
All tips will be on view for all members within a private competition only when the tournament begins.
Yes. You can edit them on the Tipping detail page once your tips have been submitted and the tournament has not begun by clicking on the “Change Line-Up” button.
You can place or edit your tips up until the commencement of a given tournament.
If any of your primary golfers get scratched from a tournament, we will use your optional tips to fill their space(s). If there are less than 3 golfers in your line-up playing a given tournament, we will send you an email to guide you to make sure you’re all set to enter into the competition. However, you are responsible for your Line-Up so make sure that you check your tips before the Tournaments starts.
Yes. It is up to you to ensure that your Line-Up is valid. If your Line-Up is incomplete we will alert you via email and use your reserves if they are available but it is up to you to ensure your Line-Up is valid for each Tournament.
Like in the open competition, the most points wins the prize pool. Earn points based off golfer placement in a given competition.
